Go Dawgs!

Wyatt 'watched' his first Husky football game tonight! He was quite impressed as you can see. Or it may be Auntie Linda's big screen HD TV that he is impressed with. Is that a "apple juice belly?"
TOUCHDOWN HUSKIES! And there were several!! Great start to hopefully a great season!

Fun Day in Castle Rock!

Wyatt and Collin spent a day with Cousin Ryan at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Castle Rock this week. Wyatt loved Cousin Ryan's old scooter.
Grandpa Dan reading to the boys.

Wyatt practices his basketball skills

Here's Grandma and Grandpa with the two best grandsons ever!

Three generations of Murphy Men.
As you can see Wyatt would much rather go play.

Ryan and Wyatt go for a walk and have a heart-to-heart.

What a great day!!

I love the action shots and this was is extra cute with the little flip of hair blowing in the breeze! Almost time for the first hair cut.

Messy boy!

Wyatt is learning to feed himself! "But before eating I must use my banana-greased hands to get my hair just right!"
Yum!

" Oh, I get it, dip then put in my mouth."

"Oh, this is fun! I get to get food all over and nobody cares! Mommy must be at work"

Mommy's Little Helper

And I didn't even have to ask him!! I had the broom sitting out getting ready to sweep and Wyatt decided he would help me out. What a guy! The funny thing is, he must have watched me do it before, because he was really pushing the broom back and forth.
This cleaning is hard work! I have to sit down for a bit.

Fun times with friends

Wyatt got to play with all of his friends this weekend. It was great to see all the kids interacting. The best part was watching Gavin give Wyatt a taste of his own medicine, when he yanked toys away from him. High-Fives with Gavin!
Hugs with Lauren. As you can see, Lauren wasn't too into the hugs. Who can blame her, Wyatt had shoved her down about 2 minutes before this.

First Day of "School"

Here's Wyatt all dressed and ready for his first day at Cousin Heather and Darren's Daycare. He only goes for a few hours each day and seemed to love it. But I guess we have to work on the sharing toys with other kids!
Doesn't he look handsome! If you look closely you can see that Daddy gave Wyatt a lovely comb-over. Thank goodness his hair is so fine once it dries you can't tell.

Road Trip

We took a quick trip to see Collin's Grandma Gross in Medical Lake (near Spokane) this weekend. All in all, Wyatt was a trooper. We just couldn't figure out why he wouldn't sleep in the car???Just kidding! We didn't actually let him drink the Coke. He just likes to play with the bottle. And when you have a long drive with a toddler, you let them play with whatever entertains them, right?!
Awww... some peace and quite!

Wyatt has come to love his 'Mr. Lamb.' I am scared to say, I don't think we would have had a successful trip without him.

Or without the blanket. It not only served as a cuddle buddy, but was the peek-a-boo equipment for the entire trip. Sometimes we would think he was sleeping and would look back and this is what we would see.

Wyatt even learned how to make Mr. Lamb dance. It was entertaining for all of us.

Finally we arrived at Great Grandma's house! And enjoyed a great afternoon of reading, visiting and a great trip to the park.

Wyatt made himself at home at our Condo in Moses Lake. He was oh so helpful while loading the cooler. He kept taking it into the living room and taking the things out of it.

Time to head home. We had one tired little guy, so it was time to pack up and head home. This is Wyatt and Collin with his Grandma Gross and Aunt Carolyn and cousin Carrie. Hope to see them all soon!

Why are we so tired if we just sat in the car all day? That's ok, Mommy will take snuggles anytime!

Fun in the park

Great Grandma lives across the street from an elementary school, so we all walked over to have some fun. Wyatt was so funny while we were walking over there. He wouldn't walk through the clovers, he went all the way around them.
First trip down a big slide (with Daddy's help). He loved it!

They didn't have any little kids swings so he got to swing on Mommy's lap. But Mommy soon found out that these swings were made for elementary size butts and aren't too comfy for adults. :)

Boy Wyatt sure loves any kind of wheels. He sure had fun on the "Big Toy."

CHEESE!!

Wyatt has come to realize it is more fun to run everywhere now. Which is fun at times and not so fun at times. But he loved running through the open grass. Couldn't be that he had spent the last two days in his car seat.

Taking the long way back to Grandma's house. Gosh this kid loves to walk.

Go Wildcats!

On our road trip to Eastern Washington this weekend, we took a stop in Good Ole Ellensburg to pick Wyatt up some Central Gear. He got his first Wildcat sweatshirt. He looks like such a big boy in it! Would you believe I got the 3T size thinking it would be big and work for this winter! Doesn't look like there is much growing room!

Photo Shoots Gone Bad

We really tried to get some good pictures this weekend, but Wyatt just was not into sitting still for anything.
Grandpa Johnston raised 4 daughters and then had only girls for grandchildren, so he is quite thrilled to have three Great Grandsons. Here he is with Carter (2 1/2), Cole (3 weeks) and that would be Wyatt (15 months) screaming trying to get away. This was our best attempt of getting a picture Kim and Jo with their boys. You can see we had to bribe Wyatt with his 'buddy.' This one of Gramma and her boys actually didn't turn out too bad! But I think we were boring Cole.

What a Weekend!

Wyatt and Mommy headed up to Ferndale last weekend for a BBQ and baby shower welcoming Cousin Cole. It was a busy, but fun weekend! Here, Cousin Carter teaches Wyatt how to have some fun at the water fountain.
Cole and Auntie Jo have a heart-to-heart

After one of the showers we went to our friends house for a swim. Wyatt sure had fun playing with all the other kids this weekend. He and Paige sure had fun playing Peek-a-Boo around Jo.

I just loved this picture! Wyatt sure has become quite a boy. He loves playing with trucks and cars and this step at Gramma and Grandpa's house was the perfect spot.

Swimming Lessons

We were a little nervous of how Wyatt would be in the pool, since it had been so long since he was in one. But as you can see he loved it. His favorite thing now is to lick the water.
He's even starting to get the hang of jumping in. Now if we could just get him to close his mouth when he goes under.

Wyatt would just float around like this the entire time if he could. He really enjoys letting someone else do the work.

A Boy and His Zebra

I know this picture is blurry, but that's because Wyatt has gotten so good at bouncing on his zebra he goes too fast to get a good picture. But I loved this picture anyways because of that grin!

Where did Big Bird Go?

This is Wyatt's response when you ask him where something is. The rings are just added for decoration!

Hide and Seek

Wyatt has discovered our closet and has a blast taking my shirts off of the hangers and taking the hangers to who knows where.
