That a roll of wrapping paper could be so fun.Trumpet boy!
How's my form Grandpa?
Then when the paper is gone, Daddy cut it in half to make me some drum sticks! Even better!!
Gosh I am good!
Oh wow this is fun!
This exercise ball makes even better sounds than the stool!

Fun weekend with two Goofballs

Listen closely Cole, this is a great book!
No thanks Wyatt, I would rather just look at the pictures.
No really, let me have it.
Ok, I still love you. Let's just play noses instead.
How about a ride on my trike!
Wyatt and Cole stayed home with Collin for a little bit. I think the favorite part for all three of them was the ride in the laundry basket.
Cole gives bath time a thumbs up.
So, Wyatt, why are we dressed alike?
I don't know Cole, just look cute and then we can be done with this picture thing.
It's easy Cole, all you have to do is push off with your feet. Then you can reach all those things they don't want you to get to.
Let's wrestle!
One more laundry basket ride before you leave, Cole?

Trip to the park

Auntie Kimmer makes a much more comfy swing that the old one!
New Challenge of the day... Climbing the ladder.
Oh I almost got it...why does Auntie think that she needs to keep her hand right behind me?
The long walk to the park was too much for Cole, so he missed out on all the fun.
And back to the ole favorite slide!

Congratulations Daddy!!!!

Some exciting news in the Murphy household...
Collin got a new job yesterday! After months of getting in shape, testing and interviewing, Collin has accepted a job with the Lakewood Fire Department! We are so excited for our new adventure, which includes much more Daddy time! Here's Wyatt wishing Daddy good luck on his final interview. He must have done AWESOME, they called the next day to offer him the job!!
Wyatt decided to do some finger painting and make Daddy a Congrats card. He had a blast and even taste tested the paint. Luckily one little taste and he knew it wasn't to be eaten. And luckily for us, it's non-toxic.
High-five daddy!! We are SO proud of you!!!

So Determined

Wyatt has sure become one determined, stubborn little guy lately. We are not sure where he gets this from since we know neither his mom or dad were like this.
And this is what we get if he doesn't get what he wants. Gotta love that face!

Day At The Park!

It was SO nice to get out and enjoy some sunshine this weekend!Wyatt walked all the way to the park in our neighborhood (we went with him of course!) and had a blast swinging.
Then we tried out the slide. At first Daddy let him go and I caught him...
But then he decided that was boring and he had his own plans.
He walked up the slide about a dozen times. He has become quite the climber lately!
Then he LOVED letting go and sliding down on his belly!

So Sweet!

Wyatt has become quite the snuggle bug lately. I hope he stays this sweet forever! He loves rocking 'babies'
Boy he will make a great big brother someday (I said someday, not now)
And yes, even our Elmo stickers get some loves.

Sunny Sunday!

Wyatt and Daddy got up at 6:30 this morning and this what what the house looked like when I got up at 9:00. I guess I was sleeping very hard, I didn't even hear the tornado come through.
While I stayed and cleaned the inside of the house, Daddy and Wyatt headed outside to clean up the yard. Wyatt was SO excited to be outside!
Time for lunch. Wyatt's very first PB&J sandwich. He ate some of it, but wasn't too impressed. There's no cheese on it, so we should have known.
We had some friends over for dinner tonight. Wyatt sure took a liking to Todd!

Ready to go to the store

Someone forgot to tell Wyatt that this was the warmest day we have had all year. He had to not only wear his hat to the store, but his mittens also. The best part was watching him trying to eat his apple slices with them on.

Mr. Mooch

Mommy if you are going to eat breakfast in front of me, the least you can do is share.

Who needs a pillow?

When you can have your blanket, Mr. Lamb and Frank the monkey to snuggle with?

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!Last night Wyatt sat down and got all of his Valentines ready to take the daycare today.
He was so excited to get a Valentine's Day package.
Thanks for the puzzle and book, Nana and Papa!!!
When I brought him home from daycare we had to check out all his goodies.
His favorite was the little box of feesh from Auntie Heather. I guess Daddy and Mommy will just have to eat the stuff he doesn't like.
Wyatt is fighting yet another cold, so he enjoyed some quiet time this afternoon.
But nothing a little Valentine's Day present from Mommy and Daddy can't fix!

Guitar Lesson #2

Oh I see, it's a power chord

My New Core workout!

Wyatt loves to watch Collin and I workout and tries so hard to copy us at times. This weekend when I was working out he wanted to play so bad, so we invented a new core workout using some 'Wyatt Weight.'He absolutely LOVED it.
And with him pushing 35 pounds it was a great addition to my workout!
