Globetrotters!

P'pa took Wyatt and Collin to see the Globetrotters last weekend. All three had a blast!

I was told Wyatt was great the entire day!
Luckily he had P'pas nice comfy lap to rest in when he got tired.

It started out small...after making a 'list' in his notepad Wyatt decided to go get some groceries.

So proud of himself. After we put everything back, I realized I should have taken this opportunity to clean out my pantry.

8 Months Old!

'Cracker Stick'

We gave Caden his first Biter Biscuit today. While he was eating it Wyatt asked him if he liked his 'cracker stick.' What am I supposed to do with this?
Oh, I think I got it!

Ok, that was yummy!

After he chewed it down to chokable size, I broke it into tiny pieces and he goobled every last crumb!

Valentines

Wyatt and I started his Valentines today. Good thing I started them early. He decided he wanted to do them all his self... I was very impressed with his cutting skills!
Then he discovered my paper cutter!

He loved it and cut all that paper into tiny little scraps.
The funniest part was when Nana called to say hi. He was on the phone with her and says in a very serious, professional voice, "Nana I have to go, I have lots more cutting to do."

Let's Build!

Wyatt came out of his room with his tool belt all loaded up and his 'instruction map' all ready to go. "Hey Momma! I have a great idea. Let's build a fort."

How can I say no to that!
So after clearing all beds of pillows and blankets we finally had enough supplies. The funniest part was, Wyatt kept looking at the plastic jungle scene and saying, "Yep that looks right, we followed the directions!" Wyatt pretty much did this one on his own. It was pretty fancy with a bed inside and doors. No pictures of the inside though, since I wasn't allowed in!

Daily Life...

Ok, so no fancy title or theme for this post. Just some silly boys being boys... Give a boy a tub of toys and...

Every evening they both get SO excited for naked time and we just sit around at marvel at how long and lean Wyatt has gotten and how massive Caden is.

Wyatt is still working on his 'best big brother ever' award. He often drops whatever his is doing to help me put Caden to bed ,which includes reading 'I love you through and through' to him.

And nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby! Caden has really taken to his 'lovey'

He is so darn cute at bedtime when you hand it to him. He takes that ole flannel burp rag and rubs it on his cheeks.
