Slip and Slide

We had our weekly play date with my coworkers kiddos today and finally the kids got to play outside! My boys had never been on a slip and slide and had a blast. I did bring swimming clothes for them to wear but they wouldn't even slow down long enough to change.
Got Caden halfway changed at one point. Gotta love those chunky thighs!

Caden is my dare devil, but NOT on this! I love how cautious he is and then he gets SO excited like he did some major swimming trick. :)

48 hours of fun!

With Daddy working a 48 hour shift this weekend and summer finally showing up, I decided to see how much fun the boys and I could have. I have to say, it was great to give up chores and working out and just have fun. Saturday started with a walk and playing at the park. Then lunch outside. After that it was spray mat, slides, sprinklers, water tables, otter pops, swimming pool and the boys crashed by 7:45. Sunday was more of the same but we added some painting for extra fun.

Cleaning off in the pool. Finger painting outside is the way to go!!

Gotta clean up the engine after a long day at work!
Again...not sure what the deal with this website is, but I can't seem to get the pictures in the order I want them. :(
Can you tell that Wyatt picked his own outfit? This was after I told him he couldn't wear his sweats and long sleeve shirt outside when it's 90 degrees. I think this time he was seeing how many different colors he could get on in one outfit ;)

And we are finishing off today with a trip to have pizza with Daddy at the fire stations.
Can't beat these kind of weekends!

Ready for T-Ball

I told the boys to get shoes on so we could go to T-ball and this is what I found when I walked around the corner. :)

Sprinkler!

We had a brief moment of sunshine the other night so after dinner when I went outside to water the boys had a little fun in the sprinkler. Sure wish the sun was around more often so we could do this everyday!

Wyatt's own workout video

When we went to the library this week Wyatt was so excited when he found a workout video just for him. He has done it every day since he got it. It has been so fun to watch him follow the directions of Rodney Racoon. And I think this may actually help with his lack of coordination! ;)

"Dog Pile'

Blogger is giving me a little trouble, so these are out of order, but you still get the idea. Like many days, the other day the boys had every toy they could get in a pile on the floor. Wyatt thought it was funny to run and fall in all the stuffed animals. And of course his little shadow was not far behind. They had a blast and entertained themselves (and me) for over a half hour.

Ring Toss

The boys and I got a little crafty the other day. Thanks for the idea Stephanie!

oops, pictures are out of order!

Day With Thomas

We surprised the boys with a day with Thomas the Train. They both were so excited!!! So many trains!

Wyatt thought it was pretty cool to walk on actual train tracks
Wyatt was very excited to get on the train, Caden, not so sure.

Great scenic ride!
Once we got moving Caden got into it.
Learning all about how a steam engine works

This was Caden most of the day. :)
During dinner he kept saying 'Righ Thom da rain!'

First t-ball game

I love it how there are more parents then kids on the field! It literally takes all hand on deck to get the kids around the bases :)
