First day of second grade!

 Kindergartners don't start until Monday, but I meet with each family this week so Collin had to take a picture of us heading off on the first day. Wyatt still loves coming with me in the mornings even when we tell him he can sleep in and have Dad bring him later.  Wonder how long that will last.

More beach fun!

Lazy Morning

 This summer the boys have really been into sleeping with only shorts on. So that means lots of skin in the mornings!  They looked so sweet this morning at the beach house.

Seabrook 2013!

Collin came home from work Sunday morning and asked if we wanted to go to the beach. I said ya, I thought of that but Ocean Shores is going to be packed this weekend. I don't feel like fighting crowds.  So he got on the phone and found a one-night last minute deal at Seabrook!  So we loaded up the car and told the boys we were going on an adventure.  They we so excited when Wyatt finally saw some road signs that told him where we were headed.

 It was so nice out!

It seems to be chilly, windy and/or misty every time we go to a beach. Not this time. It was so nice that after playing in the sand for a while we headed down to the water.

 The boys have barely gotten their feet wet at the beach in the past. Not sure about the waves and like I said it's usually cold.  They (mainly Wyatt) started off kind of timid, but after a few minutes they were loving it. Jumping and chasing waves and giggling the entire time. I will post some video later.

 Caden jumped and ran so much that he is actually sore today. He has been limping around all day and after looking over his foot we realized nothing is hurt, I think he is just sore.

After dinner we enjoyed an evening at the pool.  Then woke to rain so we spent the morning at the pool again before heading home.  What a great little end of summer get-a-way.
