It's beginning to look like Christmas!

Daddy and Wyatt got the lights up

Wyatt was so kind and 'washed' the house for us
tree is up!
Although my type A personality is having a hard time with how uneven the decorations are since Wyatt put them on, but I am learning to deal with it and leaving them where they are instead of redoing like I did last year. :)
And Christmas jammies are being worn!!!
(my favorite!)

Elmos!

Wyatt got both of these Elmos two years ago for x-mas. I got them out for Caden to play with and Wyatt hasn't stopped playing with them for two days! He obviously has gotten over his fear. Now is I can just get the Chicken Song out of my head.

Pull up day!

Whenever Wyatt hears Collin or I say that we are going to work out, the first thing he asks is if it is a 'pull up day.' Both boys love doing pull ups. Wish I could say the same...

Ummmm...Pudding!

Right after spaghetti dinner...doesn't get much messier than that! :)

Child Labor

Brothers

Having a picnic
Inventing a new game. Caden LOVED this so much. Now, every time Wyatt gets his Clifford blanket out Caden lays on it and yells wheeeeeeee!

'Wyatt-isms'

On the way home from preschool today Wyatt informed me that they learned about Christmas and Baby Jesus today at school.

Me: What did you learn?
W: That Christmas is like a family...bacation (I think they must have talked about family being together)
Me: Who is Baby Jesus
W: He's a type of baby...he was born

Sledding

The last few days Wyatt has been ready to go outside at 8am. The first day I made him wait until 2pm when it warmed up to 25 degrees out. But yesterday it was a stretch to wait until after lunch. He was SO excited and wanted to pull Caden all the way to the park. Almost made it. Got tired about half way there and hopped on with Brother so Daddy could pull them both.If you click on the picture to enlarge it you can tell that Caden is busting up! He giggled the entire way there

Ready to go!
Momma's turn!

Right before we headed in the house Caden took a face plant into the snow. Not a happy boy. He took a 3 hour nap afterwards so I think we wore him out!

They both loved sledding so much. Especially Caden. He would yell 'weeeeeeeee' all the way down and sign 'more' as soon as the sled stopped. I think he is going to be quite the thrill seeker.

Snow!

Nothing cuter than a little guy in snow pants! :)
Caden's first snow!

He loved throwing snowballs on the ground and watching them break

Child Labor? Wyatt loves his new shovel! And if we get much more we may just put him to work!

When Collin was done putting Caden down for a nap this is where he found Wyatt. And the minute I got home he told me he was going to get his 'pants with suspenders' on and go outside.

So out they went, and sure enough, there was enough snow for a snowman!
Not sure how the firefighter water pack fits into building a snowman but I am sure Wyatt has a great explaination.

Hot cocoa time! This was Wyatt's first time trying hot cocoa and he wasn't really a fan. I think he was just scared of something 'hot' even though his was about room temp by the time he tried it.

treasured moments

Among the chaos of fighting over the ONE specific train or car that they both have to play with at the exact same time there are sweet moments that I treasure. These two love playing together and are starting to get better at it. Sometimes I find myself just watching them and then I realize I could actually get a load of laundry in, or dishes done without a shadow trying to 'help.' ;)
The Lego tub does make the perfect seat!

Let the fun begin!

Getting his first timeout...and he actually sat there for the entire 1 minute!

Oh, Bubba, you crack us up!

There is something new every day that just reminds me of how much I LOVE this age!
Caden is really into making us laugh and he thinks he is SO funny. (hmmm, I wonder who he gets that from?) But my favorite moments are when he isn't trying to be funny, he's just being a goofy 18 month old. When he is done eating, he likes to hand you all the leftovers off of his tray. The other night I guess we weren't acting fast enough and he just decided to pile it all up onto the table. Unfortunatly he missed several times and we had quite the pile on the floor. What cracks me up is the look he gives us, like Why are you laughing, isn't that what I am supposed to do?
And the other night, while flying airplanes, he found the perfect driver's seat.

Best Big Brother Ever!

Wyatt really loves being a big brother (most of the time!)
He loves teaching Caden new things. And so far, most have been positive things...
signing 'help', brushing his teeth, playing trains, and the latest washing his hands
And lucky for Wyatt, Caden loves doing everything big brother does.

Wyatt's Thanksgiving project from school

I am thankful for going surfing, and for firetrucks. And for playing at my house with my brother. And I'm thankful for dreams about bike rides.
You can guess what my favorite part is!
Not sure where the surfing came from. :)

Puddle Jumping

Wyatt had a blast teaching Caden how to jump in puddles today.
He caught on in no time

He also found that laying in them was quite fun too!

Now for a lesson on throwing leaves at each other.
They had so much fun outside this morning. Glad the rain stopped long enough for us to get some fresh air!

Day at the Seattle Center

The boys and I met Auntie Kimmer and Cole at the Seattle Center this morning. They boys had a blast! Their traveling exhibit was Clifford so they were all thrilled. Caden especially loved T-Bone.

Getting a picture of all three of them is not easy.

Flirting with the girls in front of them :)

Wyatt driving the boat to Birdwell Island while Caden navigates.
Last attempt of a picture of all three of them.

After spending all morning/afternoon in the Museum all Wyatt could talk about today was the water fountain. He even invented a 'Water Fountain Game' for bath time. Needless to say my bathroom floor got a good cleaning!
