Happy Halloween!!

Wyatt was so excited to put his costume on today!
Cutest little pair I have ever seen.

After a warm spaghetti dinner, Wyatt and his buddies Sam and Charlie were ready to trick or treat!

Caden enjoyed his first Halloween!
Checking out his stash!

This picture cracks me up. Charlie is such a character...
He just leaned on the couch like this and enjoyed his tootsie.
I loved his dragon costume and already asked to borrow it for Caden next year. :)

Then Charlie got a hold of the yellow hat and ran around like this. I told you this kid has character.

Big boy in a little hat!

Wyatt decided he wanted to help me sort his old clothes to hand down to Caden. He found this old hat from his first winter and wore it around the house. Collin and I were laughing so hard. We thought he looked like an old fashioned football player. That or a 'very special boy.' :) Showing off his muscles.

Look out, he's on the move

Boy, once this kid figured out how to roll he got it down fast! Gone are the days we can put him down and know right where he is if we leave the room.
He was pretty proud of himself. Until he rolled one more time and bumped into the TV stand. He didn't like that one bit.

Thanks Cole

This picture cracks me up! All weekend Cole was very concerned that Caden had a toy to play with. Sunday morning I walk in the room and this is what I found. Caden was such a sport and just sat there, and Cole was pretty darn proud of himself.

Fun weekend!

Cousin Cole and Auntie Kimmer came and stayed with us this weekend. As you can see the boys had a great time and didn't have a shortage of toys out.
This lasted for about 30 seconds

Saturday morning we loaded up the car and headed to Lakewood for a family event at Collin's fire station.

Wyatt's favorite part was using the hose

Cole was a trooper! Right before this he pinched his finger pretty good. He tried so hard to keep going.

They both loved the fire engine! Wyatt was funny, he kept telling us which truck was which and let Cole know that they sat in the engine and we didn't have time to sit in the ladder truck. Daddy is so proud!

Then we sat and listened to Daddy's lecture of fire safety. Then they start up some fake smoke for you to practice. Wyatt wanted no part of that!

Our two handsome instructors!

Last but not least we got to pick out a free pumpkin!

Tired boys!

He's got it

This was as far as Caden got last night. He was very content just laying there like this.
He got stuck a couple times today, but...

He's got it. He thinks he is pretty hot stuff whenever he gets onto his tummy by himself!

'My little crib'

Wyatt decided to take a nap in the laundry basket today. Calling it 'his little crib'
Good morning!

'Momma stop, enough pictures'
(this is actually what he said to me)

Many Faces of Caden

Collin took a turn at a little Caden photo shoot this week. Man this kid is photogenic. I wonder where he gets that from, certainly not his mother! Where's my lip? Wyatt and Caden have the exact same mouth! Wyatt used to do this all the time as a baby.
SO kissable!!

Those eyes get me everytime!

Oh another photo shoot, how boring
OK, I can ham it up for the camera if you insist.
Whatch you lookin at?

Huh? What do you mean I can't eat tacos with you tonight?

Fall Fun

Nana and Papa made the boys cool pumpkins with their names on it.
We had to make Halloween cookies of course!

I bought chocolate frosting this time. Wyatt LOVED it!

This was his face and shirt after just a half of a cookie!
Time to carve some pumpkins! Daddy did most of the work since Wyatt doesn't like to get his hands dirty. You can see that he is trying to scoop without letting his hands touch anything.

Happy pumpkin!

The finished products! Kind of blurry since I didn't use a flash, but I wanted to full effect.

I am going to have to get creative one day and get better picture of the boys and their pumpkins.

Wii

Father-Son bonding over a little game of bowling

Story time

Wyatt has many of his books memorized and loves 'reading' them to Caden.

4 Months old and healthy!

I love the fact that I have never had to worry if either of my boys was getting enough to eat, never had to wake them to feed them, and I LOVE the fact that they are both wonderful sleepers. And I think a few chunks are pretty darn cute on a baby. At his 4 month appointment Caden weighed in at a whomping 21 lbs and is 24 1/2 inches long. Don't bother asking what percentage that is. The doctor and I decided Caden is on a curve all his own! So he has offically outgrown the infant carseat, and is working on two bottom teeth. Slow down kiddo, you are going to be walking next time I turn around! Oh and we are in size 4 diapers already. I think I may be in trouble since they only go up to size 6. :)
And just for fun... Here's Wyatt at 4 months. We thought he was a big boy! HA! He was an inch longer and 3 pounds lighter! I think there is one extra pound in each of Caden's thighs.
