Gotta say, the teacher in me was loving this! Wyatt took his train table apart so he could do some 'learning.' He had to test to see what rolled and what didn't.
His first science experiment that he came up with all himself!!!

Then it turned into a dance floor!

Oh and I guess I should mention that our Halloween costumes came in the mail today and Wyatt hasn't take his off since we got it!

While pushing along an empty laundry basket, Wyatt had a little lapse in judgement...
'Hey, let's do a belly flop face first into the basket'

Not sure how he thought it would end, but we had our second bloody nose of week, a scratched up elbow and two scabs on his nose as well as a mark on his forehead.

Safe to say, he won't be doing that again. The funniest part was last night he had to brush his teeth with his eyes closed because he didn't like see the blood.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA!

So this weekend I asked Wyatt if he wanted to make something to mail Papa for his birthday. He hopped up and said yes! Assuming he was going to get his markers and paper, I was shocked when he comes back with his new Cookie Monster Cook Book. "I know there's something in here he will like!" So we took a look and according to Wyatt, 'Papa loves these cookies!' So watch for the mailman, Papa! He will be delivering some tastey (yes, we tested them!) "Cookie Monster's Peanut Butter & Jelly Thumbprint Cookies!"

We could hear Tigger calling to us from Wyatt's bedroom. He was about to overheat. He and Mr. Lamb were stuffed in Wyatt's shirt last night. No worries, we saved them both and they were given a bath today. :)

So much to watch!

First bandaid

Not really, but the first one that a shot wasn't involved. Caden grabbed a can while I was trying to feed him the other night and got a little cut from the edge. I couldn't get the little bugger to stop bleeding so we had to bandage it up.
He found it quite interesting. Luckily I could kept feeding him long enough so that he wouldn't get it off until the bleeding stopped.

Flowers from my boy

These are the flowers that Wyatt picked for me while we were on our walk the the other day. He had to put them in water as soon as we got back.
He noticed that they needed a little more sunlight so he got his flashlight to help them
They must have been very fragile flowers since they needed constant light on them.

Good time at the fair!

You know it's a good time when you come home with snow cone, ketchup and ice cream stains on your shirt and face!

Wyatt and I had a great time on our double date with Henry and Maggie at the Puyallup fair earlier this week. We ate a lot, rode the rides, watched a pirate show and mingled with the animals. What more could you ask for on a Monday afternoon? As soon as we got to the fair Wyatt spotted the "Sky Ride" and had to go on it. I kept putting him off thinking there is no way he would like being up that high. Well he is persistent if nothing else. So at the end we all climbed in and big surprise to me he LOVED it. That's all he talks abut when someone asks him about the fair.

The Tradition continues...

We don't have many family traditions in the Hoksbergen family, but Husky football has been one for as long as I can remember. It offically got passed on to a third generation this weekend! And I think it was a hit. Wyatt had a blast and I had so much fun watching him with his 'permagrin' and big wide eyes, taking it all in. The boy in green kind of stands out, but he wanted in some pics.

We caught a free shuttle bus in Federal way that dropped us off right in front of the stadium. Wyatt was SO excited to be on a city bus! He was pretty much grinning like this ALL day. It was great.

And this is the last shot I got before my camera died. So sad. :( Wyatt had a blast. And was so cute cheering and 'woofing' with the crowd. We even went and watched the team run out of the tunnel. That was a hit right up until they sounded the siren and shot out steam. He wasn't sure if he should cover his ears or his eyes. He was so darn cute when everyone would start cheering he would join right in. And when they got a chant going of "Go Dawgs" he loved waiting for it to be his turn to yell.

Crashed out on the way home! But still holding tight to his new football Papa got him.

Caden has really taken off (literally) the last few days. Wyatt gets so excited seeing him walk and is a great big brother who has loved helping him learn (until Caden heads towards his things!)

So Tired!

The combination of a busy evening at Cathy's b-day party last night and getting up early this morning was just too much for Caden. Poor guy couldn't even make it through lunch.

New Play Dough Day!

When we got Wyatt's play dough out today we realized it was getting kind of dry. So we decided to make some new! He was SO excited and rushed to get his apron on! :)
Caden was a big helper by emptying out an entire box of ziplocks. It actually entertained him pretty much all morning.

I had sticky play dough fingers so I couldn't get a picture of it, but at one point he was laying in them wiggling all around and giggling at how it felt.
