Tuesdays in the park

The boys and I have been meeting our friends Kristen, Sam and Charlie at our local park for some Tuesday night entertainment. Last week was a pirate show and tonight was a magic act.
I wasn't sure if Wyatt would understand or be interested in the magic act, but he sat and watched the entire thing. This would be him raising his hand when they asked for volunteers. Not sure if he knew what he was doing, but he didn't get chosen.
I think Wyatt's favorite part was the music playing before the show. This would be his new dance moves. Quite entertaining.

Summer is here!

Fresh strawberries! (Wyatt loved them so much half of his face was red)
And our first Popsicle (or popsiple as Wyatt calls them) of the season!

YUM!

Where's Wyatt?

Momma Time!

Wyatt and I had a little date on Saturday. We met our friends Jessica and Addy at the Hands on Children's Museum. When we were getting ready to go Wyatt told me not to forget Caden. When I explained to him that it was just him and Momma he got a little sad and didn't want to leave Caden. What a sweet big brother! But once we got there he had a blast.
Wyatt and Addy had so much fun picking out the veggies and fruit to deliver.

Bottle time!

Collin gave Caden his first bottle last week. Boy this kid likes to eat. He didn't even pause when Collin put it in his mouth. If there is milk in it, he wants it!
And don't try to pause for a burp! I think he will be feeding himself in no time!
Nana even got to feed him one while she was here. :)
Then it was Wyatt's turn. He was SO excited! The funniest part was that after Caden ate I have to pump and Wyatt asked if he could help do that as well. Sorry kiddo, that's a Momma thing.
SO proud of himself!!

Facial

Wyatt loves using lotion and has become quite independent lately. So that combination has resulted in some pretty soft skin. Wyatt came out of the bathroom the other day and informed me that he has really soft cheeks from the lotion. I guess so!

Can't resist those cheeks!

Even Caden finds his own cheeks irresistible, and had to pinch them!
I found this outfit today that I forgot I had bought. It's size newborn. Guess this is going in the too small pile already!

More Fun with Daddy

I found a few more pictures from this weekend. Collin was working at a public event giving engine tours. So of course we had to take Wyatt.Future firefighter?

HAPPY FATHERS' DAY!

After being home with us for 2 weeks Collin had to go back to work on Friday. Then after an overtime shift on Saturday he was back at work on Sunday as well. We sure missed having him around the house, so as a special Fathers' Day treat we headed up to the station to hang out with him for a while.Happy Fathers' Day Daddy! We love you!
Caden's first trip to the station!
6 months ago when Wyatt had his first trip to the station he wouldn't go anywhere near the engines. Now we can't get him away. He even liked it when Daddy turned on the lights.
Then, Firefighter Jeff actually convinced Wyatt to go for a ride!
The two most handsome firefighters I have ever seen!
Wyatt thought he was pretty cool since he got to honk the horn and make the sirens go!
These guys are SO great with kids! We were there for a couple hours and even got invited to stay for a yummy salmon dinner! Then it was back out to the ap bay to check out all the toys in the 'ambie' as Wyatt likes to call it.
Anyone up for a ride on the automatic stretcher!?

It's an emergency!
Look out kids, here I come!!

Fishin' in the Park

Wyatt couldn't wait to try out his new fishing pole that his buddy Henry got him for his birthday. We finally got it out and headed to a local lake for his first go at it.
I was laughing so hard at this. I told Collin I felt like I should start whistling the Andy Griffith song!

Wyatt just loved reeling it in and then casting it right back out. One of these days we will teach him that you are supposed to put bait on it.

He started to get the hang of it towards the end. We were a little nervous that on one of his 'castings' the pole would end up on the lake, but he held onto it the entire time and even had some good ones.

Giant post of random pictures

So it seems that finding the time and energy to blog lately is a little harder than before, so here's what we have been up to for the last week or so.One of Wyatt's favorite things lately is to have me read to him while I am nursing or burping Caden. And I love it too! Wyatt looks so comfy in this picture.
This evening while I was burping Caden, Wyatt brought me a book and says, "Here Momma, you can read to your two boys."
Any time Buddy!!
Wyatt couldn't wait to get the play mat out. Caden actually laid there for quite a while. And he reached for Wyatt's face and that just cracked Big Brother up!
Tummy for for all three!!
Dad and Wyatt just handing out in the backyard.
Total random shot, but this was Mr. Wyatt the other night. I think this kid would fall out of a king size bed if it didn't have railings on it!
Wyatt insists on burping Caden 'like Momma does'
I love the pure joy on his face!
G'ma and P'pa have been for a couple visits.
I love the look on Caden's face in this picture.
I love Collin's quote about this picture
"This shot reminds me of how fast they grow up...One clinging to Momma and another climbing a tree in the background."
And Yes, Wyatt was trying to 'climb' that dinky little tree in our back yard. He couldn't reach the leaf he wanted so he ended up hauling his picnic table over and standing on it to reach it.
First walk with the 'Double Bob.' Wyatt loves having Caden right next to him.
With the belly button healing nicely, it was time for a real bath! He didn't scream the entire time, but I don't think he liked it much.
I love this picture! Mostly because we finally got a good shot of Caden's eyes. But also because you will notice the firetruck card in his lap. Wyatt and he were 'playing cards.'
Auntie M and Tom came to visit when Caden was just a couple days old and then Caden got to meet Cousin Ryan this last weekend.
