Bedtime routine

Every night when we tell the boys to give loves this is what they do. We have asked where it came from and what exactly they are doing and never get a straight answer.  Guess they have their own secret language or something.  :)

Yeah, Wyatt!!!

Finally no training wheels!!!

Thank you Steve V. for the tip!
Took the pedals off and let him get his balance down and once he got that we put the pedals back on and he had it!

Kindergarten Graduation

75 Kindergarteners!  Yep we have a huge school
Wyatt is in the top row, far right.
They sang several songs and sounded really well for being so many of them.
 Caden loved watching Brother
 Cookies after the performance.
You will notice Wyatt's handsome shirt that he covered up with his sweatshirt during the performance.
Lucky Wyatt had both G'ma and G'pa and Nana and Papa there!

 Wyatt and Ms. Nolan
As promised, he was allowed to take the handsome shirt off as soon as we were done with pictures.
He couldn't get it off fast enough!
They had a slide show at the beginning with a picture of each one in a cap and gown.  It will be so fun to pull this out in 12 years!!

Squishy face with Papa

The boys decided to play squishy face with Papa the other day.  All three of them were giggling so hard.  This first picture is a favorite of mine! :)

Zoo Field Trip

I joined Wyatt's class on their last field trip of the year.  It's so refreshing to be with the little guys that actually still like their teacher! :)
We all loved the baby Spotted Leopards were so cute and playful.
We got a bit wet the first half of the day and I think Wyatt was pretty cold at this point.
During all of our trips to the zoo I have never went and watched one of the shows. Well us chaperones decided that since it was undercover it would be a perfect lunch spot to get out of the rain.  Turns out the shows are really entertaining. The kids loved it and the rain stopped by the time it was over.
We had some tired kiddos on the bus ride home!

More Tonsils coming out

Wyatt and Caden gave Daddy quite the check up the other night.

No bugs in his ears, but he did need some medicine.

Oh and he did need to have his tonsils taken out.  First step...blow up the balloon until you fall asleep.

According to Dr. Wyatt they really needed to come out.
Oh and the cheetah mask...that's to block all the germs from those nasty tonsils.

Weekend of Celebrations!

It started out with family here to celebrate Caden's birthday. He was a happy boy!  3 is such a fun birthday. He is really gets the whole present thing!

Boys had a blast trying out all the new toys with Cousin Kristin and Jade.
Then we heading to Auntie Linda's house to celebrate Cousin Dakota's high school graduation.
We ended the weekend celebrating Nana and Papa's 40th wedding anniversary with a yummy brunch at our house.  I am sad I didn't get any pictures of that, but I guess that means I was enjoying the family time.

Grow Garden Grow!

Headed to the Farmers market last weekend for some veggies to fill our garden.  Boy, it was a bit overwhelming.  Couldn't make up our minds, so we ended up with 3 kids of tomatoes, lots of different lettuce plants, spinach, pumpkins, zucchini, basil, sugar snap peas, and broccoli.  With all that we should some tasty salads this summer!!
Oh and the week before Collin planted 4 apple trees and 4 pear trees.  So in a couple years we should have some yummy fruit as well!

Is it a cold? Is it allergies? Is it croup?  Well the answer is yes.  Bubba has not been feeling well lately.  But a couple steroid treatments and he should be on the mend. That and some good sleep! On the way home from the doctor he crashed and Collin was able to get him in the house without waking him (that NEVER happens).  This was him for a few hours.  The boy was tuckered out.  This is the best sleep he has gotten in the last two days.
A good nap, some dinner and some medicine snuck into his applesauce and we started to see some of goofy boy back.  After bath Caden turns into a total character.  And tonight was no different.
Look dad I can balance on one leg
 I all set!
Not quite sure what this pose was, but I was just happy to see some goofy boy!
