The boys

As I was going through our numerous holiday pictures I found some random ones of the boys just being themselves that made me smile. Wyatt is my little organizer.
Caden has recently discovered his tongue and all the fun noises he can make with it.

And he loves giving kisses now. Just make sure you have a towel handy when you are on the receiving end. They can be a bit juicy.

This blanket was Collin's gift from the boys. They had a great time trying it out on Christmas and I was told it kept him nice and warm at the station the next night.

Since Collin had to work Christmas Day we got to have our Christmas a day early! It's nice that the boys are young enough they don't know the difference. Getting carrots for the raindeer

The boys and I had a very relaxing Christmas day. We spent the morning playing with our new toys and then when the sum popped out we headed down to the park.

The festivities have begun!

We had our first Christmas this weekend and Nana Billies. All 26 of us gathered for a great dinner and lots of presents! Sunday morning we had our Christmas with Nana and Papa. I am sad to say between everyone being sick around here and the sleep deprivation, I was really bad about taking pictures. But I have vowed to be better when we have our family Christmas in a couple days.

Preschool Sing-a-long

Wyatt had a family sing-a-long at preschool last week. It was so cute to see all the kiddos dressed up and standing in their little line. We also learned that his teachers all have great voices since it seemed they were the only ones really singing. :)

Wyatt was so cute. He wouldn't sing or smile until he spotted us.

I love it that since his school is in a church they get to sing all the traditional Christmas songs without any controversy!

Yep, I am one of the parents who forgot it was picture day so he has on a good ole Oshkosh shirt and messy hair! :) But still pretty cute.

Santa Pic

Santa!

We went and visited Santa today. The entire morning Wyatt kept telling us that he was going to sit on his lap and tell him what he wanted and introduce him to Caden. After two years of screaming fits anytime we got close to the guy, we weren't too sure how it would go today, but as you can see, it went great!! These are out of order so the bottom one is actually when he first walked up to him.

Over Thanksgiving weekend we met up with a friend of a friend and did a family photoshoot. I normally don't like getting my picture taken, but this was a lot of fun depite the cold and windy day we had. It wasn't raining so we didn't complain. These are just a few of the wonderful shoots she took.

Christmas Festivities

For the third year in a row we built a Gingerbread house. I think get a little less structurally sound each year. I was surprised we didn't get up the next day and have a big pile of gingerbread and candy. The best part is what Wyatt has been calling it. At first it was a 'candy bread house' then while we were building it, it was a ginger candy house. My favorite and the most random...a 'candy change' house.

Oh so sad. Wyatt dropped the box right before we got ready to build it so the roof was in a couple pieces and has pretty much caved in and after Wyatt got done eating candy there wasn't too much to decorate with. But hey we tried and it was fun.

We had better luck with the popcorn chain. After me showing him how to be careful with the needle, Wyatt got it down right away and had a blast.

Then he decided to 'help' me wrap presents by unrolling the entire roll of paper. And you can see the popcorn chain on the tree. It had to go 'straight up and down like a ladder.'

Himself

Here's a couple shots of Wyatt just being himself. We are never quite sure where we will find him these days and what he will be doing. Here he is having one of his many campouts of the day. With music and all... that's his fridge DJ playing his 'camping music.'

And doesn't this look like such a comfy reading spot! He sat like this and read about a dozen books. I could listen to him 'read' all day!
