Lacey Fun Fair
I am always hesitant about free events. It seems too good to be true. I always expect it to be free to get in, but each ride is $5 or it be a total waist of time. But I have to say, the Lacey Spring Fun Fair did not disappoint! Train rides, 2 bounce houses, fishing, petting zoo, pony rides and lots of hands on activities. Wyatt would only do a couple of the things. He wanted to just hang out in the bounce house. But it sure was a great little morning adventure.

Ground Breaking!!!
We finally broke ground on the house this week!
Needless to say we are a bit excited around here. :)
L to R Family Room then kitchen with the dining nook in back
Needless to say we are a bit excited around here. :)
Collin and I keep saying how small it looks. But our builder told us he gets that all the time when they are doing the foundation. And we have to remind our selves, we are going to a 2-story house so this is only half of it! :)

A few people at our race on Saturday had helmet cameras on. Here's a link to some of the video that was taken so you can get a better idea of what fun we had! :)

ASH KICKER 2011
Collin and his buddies, Jared and Jason had this great idea to get their significant others and all do the 1st annual Ash Kicker 5K adventure run. I need some motivation to workout, so sign me up. Fast forward to the week before the run...Collin bails on me due to an 'injury' and I find out that none of the other ladies agreed to do it! So insert my friend Julie from work. It worked out perfect. Julie and I were a perfect match. When I was wiped out, she pushed me, and vis versa. We got wet, muddy and had a great time! And since Collin couldn't run it, he got some great shots so we can prove we did it! :)
The before shot
this was followed by a balance beam walk, belly crawl through the mud, climb up a hill of ash and running down it (that was fun!), Sasquatch stairs, and a slide into a water/mud pit. Which means you run the rest of the race with sand/mud/water filled shoes! :)
This was one of the last ones. My legs were toast by this point so I was glad to see a rope to use our upper body! This was supposed to lead us to the giant slip and slide. Sad to say, it wasn't working, so we got to run down the steep hill instead. Which I think was what did my knees in!
Tackles!
Have become part of our night time routine...and yes, naked time as well! :)
They start all the way in the living room and run full force to whomever is on the receiving end clear in the family room.
rea-eee, seeee, GO!!!

Bowling!
Mothers' Day Tea
My mom is special because I just love her.
Because my mommy plays with my legos in my room.
Because I always give her a hug when she reads a story to me
and then she tucks me in.
