Child Labor

After all the celebrating this weekend we put the boys to work earning their keep.
They loved digging in the bark and I love our new little flower beds!!

Cousin Fun

Even though Cole was only here for about 24 hours, the boys had a blast playing almost the entire time. They did sleep for about 10 hours of it, but the rest they were going nonstop!
They did their slide dog pile about a dozen times

And kind of played Wyatt's new game.  They just liked picking which character they were.

And TONS of time on the new teeter tooter!!!

Happy Birthday Wyatt!!

Spider Man celebration with family and friends on Saturday complete with costume and everything
Nana and Papa got the boys a combined birthday gift...Not sure what Caden is thinking here, but my guess is he isn't sure about getting a giant box for a present.  I am sure he will be thrilled when he realizes it's a giant teeter tooter! :)
"Seriously Brother, I don't get...why are you so excited?"
 Big 7 year old!!!

Caden provided lots of party entertainment as usual
For Wyatt's actual birthday he chose to take some friend to school to the Children's Museum.  So fun to listen to these three giggle the entire way there.
We have been to the museum about 6 times and the boys have always ignored the stage and dress up area.  This time they spent about an hour there.  Wyatt as usually the director telling everyone what to do and we had evil bats attaching the butterflies and Batman saving them.  I will try to get some videos up of it later. Hilarious!
And after a while I finally realized that the 'bat wings' that Caden couldn't quite get to fit right, were actually a pair of pants.  He didn't believe me and refused to break character to find out.
Such a nice day we headed outside to open presents (that and I didn't want to pay the money for the museum birthday room)

Happy Birthday Daddy!

The boys couldn't wait to give Daddy his birthday present they picked out!  And he was very excited to get his own light saber so they could have some real battles.
Waiting patiently for birthday cake! :)
Hope you had a great day Daddy!
Love ya to the moon and back! :)

GREAT WOLF LODGE

Caden was QUITE excited when he found out he was tall enough to go on the intermediate slides this time!  This kid is fearless I tell ya!  And we got quite the workout chasing him around for two days.

New addition since we were here last time...Mini glow golf.  So much fun!  Caden wasn't a big fan, but the rest of us were. He couldn't quite get it down and it wasn't moving fast enough for him.

 That's good stuff!
After a night in their bunk beds and some breakfast we are ready for day 2!

Wish I could have gotten this on video!  They where splashing each other and laughing so hard!

Spring break day 1!

We started spring break off with lovely 70 degree weather so we took full advantage of it!
Picnic outside, basketball, bike riding and lots of chalking.

 He shoots!
 He scores!!!

Caden is getting so good at writing his name. He writes it whenever he can!
This is the chalkboard in the garage. He also wrote it all over the sidewalk and the aisle in the house.  We keep finding pieces of paper with his name on it.  He is so proud of himself it's adorable.
