Random shots

Things are getting back to a normal pace around here lately. Everyone is healthy and sleeping MUCH better (knocking on some wood here!), Wyatt's ears even seem to be clearing up. But we are still taking him to a ENT this week to see what our other options are besides using 4 rounds of antibiotics to cure an ear infection. And the sun has made a few appearances so we have been able to get some fresh air! Heading out for a walk~yes those kids are bundled!! With the amount of ear infections in this house we don't take any chances!
Caden is so close to crawling!!! He gets up in his knees and pushes off and gets really mad when he just slides backwards.

So he gives up and decides to just chew on his toes. With a tummy like that I am amazed every time I see him get his feet in his mouth!

Wyatt has become our little artist! This masterpiece was of our entire family. The one on the right is even me holding Caden.
Wyatt and Daddy made their yummy pizza the other night and Wyatt got to try out his new apron that Nana made him.

7 months old

And weighing in at 25 pounds!!!

Towers

Wyatt has really been into building towers lately. He even ended up getting a stool out and adding more to this one. No pictures because we get quite devastated when they fall down.

What a trooper

Wyatt has been fighting ear infections for two months now. He does great when he is on antibotics, but within a couple days of finishing them, they flare right up again. We are now in the process of getting him into an ear specialist to figure out what our next step is, but he has been such a trooper. His buddy Henry was visiting for New Year's Eve and he had so much fun, but this was him 10 minutes after his friend left.
Then today after spending the morning at the doctor office, Wyatt told Daddy that he needed to take a rest and curled up on the couch and crashed. We ended up having to wake him up three times just so he could eat dinner. Let's hope he sleeps that soundly tonight!

Caden's first fort

And he built it all by himself!

One night only

Appearing in the Murphy house is the best band ever! On lead guitar we have Daddy with Wyatt on backup. And Mr. Caden on piano.
Wyatt steps out for a solo

He may play like a rock star, but he sure can't party like one!
