Science Fair

Our school had their annual science fair tonight. A month ago when I told Wyatt about it I told him he didn't have to participate, but he was really excited to. He decided to test where his cars would go the farthest. We tested it on the grass, cement, tile and carpet. Then with some help (mainly just spelling the words) he created his board and was SO proud!

I printed out a data table for him and he measured and recorded his info all by himself!

Our little scientist at the science fair.
There were SO many people and it was pretty noisy. Two things that Wyatt does not care for. But he did pretty darn well. After he got over the shock of all the people he chatted with some people and told them about his experiment

He even talked to the 'scientist' that came around to 'judge' the experiments. He got a green ribbon and 'Science Rocks' button.

It helped a lot that some friends of ours were there with their daughters so he got to chat with some people he knew.

All of my students couldn't wait to come see Wyatt's board and he loved showing them his and then going to see their's.

Sharing his board with Kylee (from his class) and Grandma D (who helps in his class)

Well deserved treat to end the night!

Toy Story on Ice

Nana and Papa got all the boys tickets to see Toy Story 3 on ice. We had a great day that started with lunch at Red Robin and ended with some over-priced toys! :)

We got the boys a little plastic Woody and his horse. Caden has been having a blast with Woody's hat.

Someone likes pineapple!

Even had to get every last drop of the juices

Halloween

The prep work...

Caden literally chasing his tail around the house! :)

Finally the spots are complete, our cheetah is ready to go!

Let's get some candy!

Caden was hilarious all evening. Before we headed out he discovered that if he bent over he could see his tail and then proceeded to do a little bum shakin to watch his tail dance. I was laughing to hard to get the camera in time. He loved holding it while he walked

He seemed to be a could steps behind the entire night, but the big kids were really good about waiting for him. After we lifted his mask he did much better.

Yum, chocolate! :)

Pumpkin Patch

On Monday Wyatt's class took a trip to a local pumpkin patch. I wasn't planning on going since I had Caden, but when I saw how sunny out it was, I couldn't pass it up. I am go glad I went. We had a blast.

Cute petting zoo. Both boys loved the kittens

But Caden's favorite was the pigs!

I loved the maze they had for the kids. It was so fun to watch them run around and hear them giggle. Caden kept up with them for the most part and actually blended in at times.

What a great fall morning!!!

Annual Pumpkins and Pizza with the Heaters

What does a ghost say Caden?
"hoooooooooo"

And what night would be complete without some wrestle time!
