He speaks!

So it's no secret that Caden is not much of a talker...yes the doctor even had us a little concerned that he was behind where he should. I knew he would get it someday, but for now he is content with his grunts and select words. We all know that by age two they are supposed to be saying 2 word phrases. I had kind of made that a goal for 2 1/2 or 3. :) But it seems that the little monster decided he wants to talk. This weekend he has stopped me in my tracks a few times.
*While reading with G'ma he said 'Big Elmo!"
*While eating lunch "Where brofer?'
MY FAVORITE...after hearing Wyatt tell yet another knock, knock joke, Caden walked into the kitchen as says, "knock, knock...nana'
So not only does he talk...he tells jokes.
(If you want to hear the entire joke I am sure Wyatt would be happy to tell you!)

Easter

These pictures are out of order, but blogger isn't cooperating too well, so they will have to do.

After two days of birthday festivities, we had a quiet relaxing Easter. Wyatt and Cold got up from their first sleep over and had fun checking out their baskets. Caden got up about an hour later and Wyatt was happy to help him go through his stuff. :)

The lot is picked, the plans are done so now we wait...for the City of Tumwater
As soon as everything gets signed off we are ready to start building our new house!
We are over the moon excited. We will not only be going from 1,800 sq. ft. to 3,010! We will be 5 minutes from my (and Wyatt's!) school, 5 minutes from the freeway and much closer to everywhere we drive these days. Wyatt's favorite part? The big yard we will have and the PLAYROOM!

Practice #2

So last week, Wyatt wouldn't even where his shin guards...this week, had them on at noon (soccer is at 5:10!) We took them off to eat lunch, but besides that he wore them all afternoon!
