Move over Tenacious D!

I am not sure what I love more about these videos...
...the fact that this was all caught when Collin sat the camera down and walked out of the room
...how much Caden LOVES to copy his big brother
... the mic stand that Wyatt invented :)
...Caden's bed head still going strong at 11:30am
...or that Caden counted to 3 all on his own :)

More lake time

No pictures of Caden swimming because I was in the water when he was. Which was just enough for a refreshing swim, then it was back on the dock to soak up some sun and watch the boats. (I will let you guess who was doing which one)

weee, weeeee, weeeeeee all the way home :)
He did this about 20 times. The more the lady next to us laughed the louder he was. :)

OUR school

Here we are in front of OUR school. :)
Wyatt came and had his first conference/assessment today. A huge benefit of job sharing is that we are both there the first two days so I was able to sneak away and join him.
Wyatt did so well practicing his morning and bathroom routines (both so important in kindergarten! :)) Then he aced his first kindergarten assessment. What made me so proud was how chatty he was with his teacher and the other boy that was there. Wyatt usually is very shy and nervous in new settings, but has gotten so much better the last year in preschool. He is VERY excited for Monday morning.

He's a climber!

As usual, last night when I was cooking dinner, Caden brought his chair into the kitchen cheering 'ime to eat!' The boy loves to eat! Then I turn around and he was IN his chair. So I did what every good mother does...got the video camera and asked him to do it again. :) I was pretty impressed with his gracefulness, given he is 41lbs! :)

Tumwater Falls

I have wanted to go explore Tumwater Falls Park for quite a while and we finally went today. Started with a picnic lunch and then a great little 'hike' around the falls.
Oh and we got to play on some boats too!

These grates go right over the water. Can you tell that Wyatt was NO fond of that!

But he did love the falls

The boys loved all the bridges we got to walk on and under. Caden kept calling this one railroad tracks.

My favorite! :)

On the way back Wyatt was feeling more adventurous.

Major Progress

Master bath
Cabinets were the hardest for me to make a decision on and now that I seem them in I am SO happy with them!
Working on the back patio. Went by today and it is done!

Just need a railing and we have a cute front porch! Can't wait to get rock on the bottom half of those columns!

After a few snags with getting our tile ordered, we came to realize who orders it doesn't really matter, the guy you want to be nice to is the installer. And let's just say, Perry is the man! Just to make sure we were all on the same page he left us some layouts of what he thought we wanted. And I have to say, he GOT it!! I am so excited to see this done!
