Busy Morning! :)

Although I miss Wyatt when he is at school all day, I have to admit, it's fun hanging out with just Caden. This kid cracks me up and has become quite the communicator!

This morning...
Me Take Cliffor in wagon ride
When I asked him where they were going, he said
Yeah! To the playground, over there!
Then he needed a bottle

While Clifford took a rest, Caden helped make the apple pie for Thursday.
He loved rolling out the dough

Where apples go?
This was after he ate about an apple and a half while I sliced them.

Had to snap a quick photo of this before he was threatened with a timeout if he did it again. I see a launching machine in the making

You know the feeling...you all of a sudden notice that there is NO sound coming from the playroom. It's way to quiet. This happened yesterday and as I ran up to check on what trouble Caden was getting into, this is what I found! I am assuming Wyatt must have showed him how this works because he was pointing to the words/pictures and saying the words along with the reader. Doesn't get much better than that.

Around the House

Mud room floor is finally stained, which means we can move our 'lockers' in!!! The boys are so excited to each have their own space! And right now they love hanging up their coats and putting their shoes in the drawer. I wonder how long that will last?

No that's not a pile of laundry on my washer, it's my handyman. :)
I had complained to Collin how crowded our laundry room was and that I wish we had thought to put the washer and dryer on the other wall. Well Mr. Fix-it himself! Got them moved for me!! :)

They broke ground on the house across the street. Needless to say, this is where you will find Caden for most of the day

Science Fair

Our school had their annual science fair tonight. A month ago when I told Wyatt about it I told him he didn't have to participate, but he was really excited to. He decided to test where his cars would go the farthest. We tested it on the grass, cement, tile and carpet. Then with some help (mainly just spelling the words) he created his board and was SO proud!

I printed out a data table for him and he measured and recorded his info all by himself!

Our little scientist at the science fair.
There were SO many people and it was pretty noisy. Two things that Wyatt does not care for. But he did pretty darn well. After he got over the shock of all the people he chatted with some people and told them about his experiment

He even talked to the 'scientist' that came around to 'judge' the experiments. He got a green ribbon and 'Science Rocks' button.

It helped a lot that some friends of ours were there with their daughters so he got to chat with some people he knew.

All of my students couldn't wait to come see Wyatt's board and he loved showing them his and then going to see their's.

Sharing his board with Kylee (from his class) and Grandma D (who helps in his class)

Well deserved treat to end the night!

Toy Story on Ice

Nana and Papa got all the boys tickets to see Toy Story 3 on ice. We had a great day that started with lunch at Red Robin and ended with some over-priced toys! :)

We got the boys a little plastic Woody and his horse. Caden has been having a blast with Woody's hat.

Someone likes pineapple!

Even had to get every last drop of the juices
