He's Our Hero!

I had all intentions of getting up to take a picture of Collin heading to work on his first official shift, but 5am came a lot sooner than I thought it would. So a boring post with no picture! Sorry!

But I just talked to Collin and he is about half way through his first 24 hour shift. I think the nerves have calmed a bit, but he did say he's a bit overwhelmed with new information. He is getting lots of practice right off the start. They fought a brush fire today and ready for this... they rescued a porcupine! Yep, there was one stranded in the middle of the freeway, so they rescued it. So far everyone is being really nice, but I am sure the hazing will start pretty soon. :)
