We aren't quite sure how it happened, but all we know is Caden was chewing on the baby gate one minute and the next minute Collin sees him and the gate tumble to the ground and finds a little white tooth a few feet away. But I do know this was not the way we wanted to end our relaxing vacation at the beach.
So after a trip to the dentist we are happy to say he is just fine and happy as can be. There really isn't anything we can do except keep a close eye on it. Watch for infection over the next couple days, watch the spacing as new teeth come in and get an x-ray in a couple years to make sure the permanent tooth is ok and going to come in correctly.
So Caden will be short a tooth for several years to come.
